Track: Master Data Management: CDI View Track

Kris Krishan, VP Applications, GENESYS

As an industry-leading provider of customer experience and contact center technology solutions for mid-sized to large enterprises, Genesys needed to re-architect and deliver its Corporate applications in order to leverage Cloud capabilities and economics. Additionally, this large enterprise needed to accelerate its migration from on-premise applications to SaaS Cloud solutions for nearly 3,000 global employees and large customer base. This included the transition of their on-premise solutions such as SAP ERP to NetSuite ERP, Siebel CRM to CRM, and on-premise HR system to Cloud-based Workday. Additional Cloud and on-premise applications also required integration, such as OpenAir, Concur, Cloud Billing application, Cornerstone, Jira, and Big Machines. Clearly, a Cloud-enabled MDM and middleware set of capabilities will be highly leveraged to support both corporate initiatives (Cloud migration of internal enterprise applications and setting the foundation for next generation of vertical applications for the contact center market). This session will describe the business drivers and the technology solutions encountered by Genesys in their Cloud MDM journey by discussing topics such as:

  • Developing a simultaneous enterprise integration road map for both Cloud-based applications and internal enterprise applications
  • Managing the software evaluation process for an integration platform as a service (iPaaS)
  • Implementing a customer master data domain to synchronize and manage account data across all applications
