Credit Suisse is delivering a “second-generation” Reference Data Management (RDM) program to provision high-quality reference data to consuming applications and business users. The program focuses on delivering a Target Operating Model (TOM) to provide business capabilities to acquire, maintain, govern and distribute reference data. The TOM will govern the key components of Business Partner, Data, Processes, Organization and People, Applications and Technology, and Provider/Suppliers for each data class. This presentation will share experience-based insights on Credit Suisse’s multi-year initiative including:

  • Establishing an RDM foundation based on well-constructed architecture principles and standards
  • Understanding the core requirements for successfully managing multi-domain enterprise reference data
  • Measuring and communicating the business value of an enterprise RDM program's deliverables
