Taxes, death and … Microsoft Master Data Services.  Some things in life are certain.  Coming soon to a department or division near you will be a key enabler of MDM use cases, yet the vast majority of IT executives and program managers/directors are not well-informed regarding this key entrant in the MDM software market.  This session will help fill that knowledge gap and empower attendees to prepare and leverage Microsoft’s Master Data Services’ key capabilities.  Among key capabilities to be examined and demonstrated will be integration into Excel via several customer use case scenarios – including the application of Analytical MDM to manage the dimensions of business intelligence.  Such departmental MDM is much more approachable, yet ultimately still needs to be woven into the enterprise data fabric.  Due to shortage of IT resources, how does MDM evolve from bottom up or middle out?  With a focus on business processes, this session will provide insights and answers based on current corporate experiences.
