Senior Technical Staff Member, Information Governance & Entity Analytics, IBM
Stephanie Hazlewood is a Senior Technical Staff Member at IBM. She is responsible for leading key hybrid cloud initiatives in the IBM's Information Governance and Master Data Management portfolio, one of which involves the enablement of big data platforms for trusted self-service analytics.
Stephanie joined IBM via the acquisition of start-up, DWL, 12 years ago. Her 17 years in the Customer Data Integration and then Master Data Management has been complemented with a healthy dose of direct involvement with customers' information management and governance engagements from a range of industries, including banking, insurance, healthcare, and retail.
Previously, she worked in research at the University of Toronto's Center for Applied Cognitive Science where the focus was on computer supported collaborative learning and enabling analytics to assess learning and levels of expertise. She holds a masters degree from Western University.
In her free time, she is often found spinning up STEM events for children (young and old) or exploring one of Canada's many national parks with her family.
